CARP Application

The Carpenters' Apprentice Ready Program (CARP) is a collaborative effort between the EASCTC, the EAS Regional Council of Carpenters, and the Associated Construction Contractors of New Jersey. This program aims to provide training opportunities for the new generation of carpenters across the State of New Jersey.

Become a Prepared Candidate

The Eastern Atlantic States Carpenters Technical Center, the EAS Regional Council of Carpenters, and the General Building Contractors Association have partnered to offer the Carpenters’ Apprentice Ready Program (CARP). CARP is a registered Pre-Apprenticeship program under the NJ Department of Labor.

Training Includes:

  • Interview Skills, Resume Building, Job Search Skills
  • Being Successful in Construction through Attitude, Character, and Ethics
  • Working with the Tools and Material - Shop Skills & Safety
  • Construction Math - Measurement and Beyond

Applicant Requirements

To be eligible for the Carpenters' Apprentice Ready Program (CARP), applicants are required to possess a High School Diploma or GED and be at least 18 years of age. Additionally, a valid Driver's license is mandatory during the application process, and successful completion of a drug screening is essential. Prospective participants must also reside in New Jersey. A vital aspect of participation is a commitment to attending all training sessions outlined in the program schedule.
