TWIC card

The Transportation Worker Identification Credential, also known as TWIC®, is required by the Maritime Transportation Security Act for workers who need access to secure areas of the nation’s maritime facilities and vessels. See below for more information.

What is a TWIC card?

The TWIC® (Transportation Worker Identification Credential), mandated by the Maritime Transportation Security Act, is a necessity for individuals necessitating entry into secure zones within the country's maritime facilities and vessels. The TSA performs a security threat evaluation (background check) to establish an individual's qualification and subsequently grants the credential. The credential application is open to U.S. citizens and immigrants falling under specific immigration classifications.

How can I get a TWIC card or renew my old card?

We provide our members with a Payment Authorization Code to allow them to directly charge the fees to our training center so it’s no cost to them. To obtain a payment code, please contact your school. See below contact information for each location.
