The Eastern Atlantic States Carpenters Technical Center, the EAS Regional Council of Carpenters, and the General Building Contractors Association have partnered to offer the Carpenters\u2019 Apprentice Ready Program (CARP). CARP aims to train motivated females, minorities, and residents of Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lehigh, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties who face barriers to employment in the building trades. CARP is a registered Pre-Apprenticeship program under the PA Department of Labor.<\/p>\n

To be eligible for the Carpenters' Apprentice Ready Program (CARP), applicants are required to possess a High School Diploma or GED and be at least 18 years of age. Additionally, a valid Driver's license is mandatory during the application process, and successful completion of a drug screening is essential. Prospective participants must also reside in Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lehigh, Montgomery, or Philadelphia County. A vital aspect of participation is a commitment to attending all training sessions as outlined in the program schedule.<\/strong><\/p>\n
